Unravelling the Mental Threads: Mind Control and Freedom

Mind control is a technique or set of techniques designed to alter the mental processes of individuals.
It can be used on oneself as well as on others for various purposes.
Used
From overcoming oneself and one's mental abilities, to mastering the mind, to healing mental complexes or problems, to a perverse use such as manipulating other minds.
It is used in mental health to study responses in human thinking, feeling and behaviour.
Scientifically proven techniques are used to develop the mind in all its facets.
Performed by the subject themselves, it can be used for self-control of thoughts and consequently the emotions they generate.
Mental focusing techniques are used in hypnotherapy for the healing or improvement of the patient.
The study of mind control has also been of interest to parapsychology and a variety of religions and sects.
A distinction has been made between the concept of mind control and brainwashing, the latter being considered a much more restrictive and direct phenomenon.
Brainwashing
In brainwashing, the victim would have less involvement, with more involuntary submission.
The problem with brainwashing is that when the violence, fear or presence of the threatening person ceases, the implanted ideas disappear and are quickly replaced by the original ideas.
Mind control
Mind control, on the other hand, would be much more subtle, without physical abuse or direct threats, longer lasting, with a greater presence of manipulation and deception (disinformation).
There is a very popular technique, described in some quarters as pseudo-scientific or religious, the "Silva Method of Mind Control", developed and perfected by José Silva during his lifetime in the 20th century.
It claims that its fundamental aim is to improve concentration, imagination, creativity and self-esteem, and by extension, the subject's life as a whole.
A bit of history :)
The desire to control people is very old and dictatorships, authoritarian regimes and monarchies have always tried to make their citizens or subjects have the same ideas and attitudes, especially towards their leaders.
Torture has been used to put an end to the ideas of certain people, and in many cases it was limited to extracting confessions (whether they were true or not), as in the case of the Inquisition; but various repressive organisations, such as the Czechs of the Russian Revolution, discovered that by using disorientation techniques, cold, bad food and constant pressure they could implant the idea they wanted, so that people would later declare this implanted idea before judges and courts, for example.
Therefore, from the moment that torture was used as a method of repression, it was realised that this technique was of little use and that other, more persistent techniques were needed.
Mind control, like many other techniques of manipulation and alteration of free will, has always been used against us for lack of information.
This is why there is always an attempt to withhold information, because if we knew everything about everything, people would be too free to question and decide for themselves.
However, more and more information is becoming available and it seems that more and more people are questioning what they believe to be true (which is also what I want to encourage with this blog).
Mind control techniques are not necessarily the result of meticulous scientific research, although such research may exist, but rather the result of the experience of individuals or organisations who have perfected them through trial and error.
They are also widely used by dictatorial organisations such as cults.
Isolation from the family and the social nucleus
Although not the first to be used, it is one of the most important.
Physical exhaustion
The aim is to push the captive to the brink of physical exhaustion in order to make it difficult for him to think rationally.
Change of diet to a low protein diet
To reduce the body's strength and thus the ability to use intelligence, a change of diet helps.
Regular sessions of chanting, recitation of slogans, mantras...
Sometimes even falling asleep helps, because the phrases are still heard.
The person does not remember where he heard them or who said them, so he comes to believe that they are his own ideas, always held with great affection.
Talks by the leader and followers about the goodness of the organisation
The risks of leaving, and especially the scorn of those who criticise or show a rebellious attitude.
Welcoming and caring for those who come for the first time or have little experience.
Techniques that increase the pleasure of being part of the group and at the same time increase the dependence on this supposed affection and esteem, for example, if this is accompanied by a friend, efforts should be made to separate them.
Use of drugs to override the will
The main consequence of a successful mind control process is the implantation of the desired personality over the previous one, but the original personality is never destroyed and will eventually take over if the conditions are right.
But it is difficult to deprogramme people who have no previous personality to restore, either because it did not exist, as in children, or because it has been completely forgotten over a long period of time.
The fact that it is difficult does not mean that it is impossible (you can go back to the starting point and create a more beneficial one) and as we can see this topic is mainly between programming and deprogramming, which I will comment on later (subscribe to find out more).
As I have said in other posts, training our brain is really simple and complex at the same time.

Transhumanism or Humans 2.0 is the ultimate battle for our minds, which dictators of the past only dreamed about. They want to use wireless technology with receptors embedded into our cells to control everything we think, say and do.
One of the questions I seek to answer on Substack is exactly to what extent we will be violated by this technology. In a comment at Silvia Neitzner SAM's Substack, someone said they thought most of the violations would be felt at the physical level, meaning we will get sick and our energy will be harvested and depleted. Others express concern that when enough changes are made to our DNA via parallel synthetic brain structures our free will will be overridden by wireless signals programmed in from a distance. Will the Internet of Bodies be a never-ending drug trip we can't disconnect from?
Where I think your Substack fits into this puzzle is through studies of mind control and meditation we are better able to distinguish thoughts that arise from the self vs. thoughts coming from an outside malicious source. It may be that simple to protect our humanity, our soul identity and free will. I hope it is.
